Easter Egg Hunt at EPCOT: Tips and Hints for Finding the Hidden Eggs

Spring is a time of renewal when flowers bloom and the sun shines a little brighter. It's also when Easter rolls around! If you’re visiting Epcot during this season, get excited for the Epcot Egg-stravaganza! This fun scavenger hunt invites everyone to explore the park while searching for hidden Easter eggs.

What is the Epcot Egg-stravaganza?

The Epcot Egg-stravaganza is a yearly event designed for guests of all ages to explore the park in a festive way. You can buy a special sticker board at select locations and use it to track your finds. As you hunt for the eggs painted to look like your favorite Disney Bunnies, you'll enjoy the stunning sights Epcot has to offer, forging unforgettable memories.

Completing the hunt rewards you with a unique prize, adding a special touch to your visit. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Easter while indulging in Epcot’s rich cultures, delicious foods, and imaginative experiences.

How to Participate-

Joining the Epcot Egg-stravaganza is simple! Here is a clear guide to help you get started:

  1. Purchase a Sticker Board: Once you enter Epcot, stop by a merchandise location that is advertising the scavenger hunts to buy your sticker board for around $10. (We like to buy ours at Gateway Gifts, so we don't risk needing to backtrack.)

  2. Receive Hints: Your board will include hints pointing to the general areas where the eggs are hidden.

  3. Search for Eggs: Begin your adventure! Look carefully in spots you might not usually notice and make it a group effort with family or friends.

  4. Place Stickers: Each time you find an egg, select the corresponding sticker on the back of your map and place it on the location, celebrating each successful find.

  5. Claim Your Prize: When you are ready, return to a participating store to claim your prize.

With each egg you find, the thrill of the hunt turns into joy, making your day at Epcot even better!

Tips for Finding the Eggs

While the provided hints are useful, you may want a few additional insights. Here are some helpful tips that can make you an egg-hunting expert:

  1. Check the gardens in the countries.

Epcot’s beautifully landscaped gardens are a fantastic place to search for eggs. Look closely at the flowers and plants; sometimes, eggs hide among the petals.

  1. Don't forget to check areas towards the lake in the middle.

A few of the eggs can be found outside of the main areas of the countries, so be on the lookout on both sides of the pathway.

  1. Though most are on the ground, you might have to look up, too.

A Special Prize Awaits

Completing your sticker board rewards you with more than just pride; you will receive an enchanting Easter egg-themed collectible. These prizes are limited edition, designed exclusively for participants, making them perfect souvenirs to remind you of your egg-hunting escapades.

OIC Take

We love doing the scavenger hunts! They switch up the locations every year, so this is something you can do year after year and still enjoy. The prizes are cheap souvenirs, but for the price of the scavenger hunt, it's a decent deal; plus, they always match the theme, are creative, and are something we tend to use! So, if you aren't rushing around to get from shows to rides all day, take some time to enjoy the details around EPCOT by slowing down and doing a scavenger hunt.
